My tow hooks are pristine, because it hasn’t broken down on the track yet. I’m sure it will at some point. What do you think of tire stickers?

When I was managing a hole in the wall Chevy dealer in a teeny tiny blue collar shithole town, a tourist rolling through happened to stop in because we were the only repair shop around because his Series II XKE had a clutch problem.
Good grief... I’ve had 4 over the years and every one of them went off-road and had limb scratches down the sides. I guess it depends if you’re a city poser or really need a 4x4.
even if the instructor has a steering wheel, throttle and brakes- at the speeds they are going, once it’s going wrong it’s unlikely even a top level professional can save it. From “oh no” to impact is probably two seconds or less.
The control you’re taking about is a digital throttle controller. It can ‘dumb down’ the response of the pedal and even limit the percentage of throttle to less than full, regardless of pedal position.
When will people learn that unskilled labor does not pay well? Just saying “it should pay better” is ridiculous. You are supposed to be established in a career and worked your way up before having kids, buying expensive cars etc.
Let’s hope what you want never happens in our lifetime. Arbitrarily raising the expense for low price unskilled labor then raises prices on services used by the middle class, who really can’t afford an increase in their expenses across the board. Raising the bottom of the economy just shifts the whole economy…
I put a manual shifter with a hand operated clutch lever like one from a motorcycle on it for a guy once- he drove the shit out of that car with one missing leg and one prosthetic leg, running the clutch and shifter by hand.
I am a disabled vet and autocross a 2015 Camaro 1LE. Do you really think it’s physically difficult to “harness the 500+HP” as you stated? WTF? You don’t have to ride it like a horse.
cool- so when does YOUR cool movie with motorcycles and dick jokes come out?
Confirms my assertion that VW seems to draw out the most annoying douchebags as owners. Seriously, what the hell is up with that? The hipsters, the bro-coders who think they “made it” when they bought a Golf R, and the delusional hippies who constantly lie about how high their fuel economy is in their TDI while at the…
Internet dick measuring, even when well worded by an elusive “literate” internet user, is still internet dick measuring.
If it came with a VIN, it’s not a kit car.
I used to be a service manager for three different brands, from average mid range domestic to higher end euro brands. I’ve seen things like this many times, because there are MANY people who believe that if the car moves AT ALL it’s ok to keep going. If the car is truly broken to the point they need to be concerned,…
um- supporting at least a quarter of the weight of a car on one of the FOUR corners is completely normal. when you turn, that weight shifts dramatically. I agree on your statement about stupidity though.
