I've been reading it via Marvel Unlimited, and it gets a lot better after Land leaves the book and the Iron Metropolitan arc starts. Gillen does something fairly clever with the Mandarin's rings that I'm enjoying.

The Kingpin isn't corpulent Sean, he's just cultivating mass!

You say that like just as many people don't bitch and moan about Javier Pulido's style.

You really should check out a book called Prince of Cats that the artist here, Ron Wimberly, wrote and drew. It's a fantastic re-telling of Romeo and Juliet in 1980s inner-city New York from the point of view of Tybalt. Wimberly's art may be initially off-putting, but I bet it will grow on you. I think he's a very

If Larry's smart, he'll poach Jessica Williams over from TDS for this show.

Martian Manhunter doesn't even depend on advanced alien technology flying to Earth! His original origin was that a scientist on Earth invented a teleporter device that could retrieve things from other planets, and he accidentally teleported Martian Manhunter to Earth!

This is a situation I have never encountered before! I suppose I would assume you are a good person, but I would still keep my hand on my wallet, just in case.

Anybody who appreciates Tom Waits cannot be a bad person. This is a rule that I have yet to find an exception to.

It's so impressive because on the surface it doesn't seem to do things that much differently than other new teen heroes of the past decade, like the new Nova that was introduced last year for instance, but it just does it all so well that you can't help but like it.

SPACE LUGE!
Is totally canceled!

"The re-version season was a re-broadcasting of approximately half of the first season of MMPR, which was originally broadcast in 1993, but Buena Vista Television added several visual effects to the old footage, in addition to an updated opening sequence"

"Since then, Power Rangers has existed in some “re-versioned”
form more or less continuously, with much of the same borrowed footage
being repurposed with new voiceovers and effects to create the illusion
of an all-new story."

They definitely seem non-human, what with the immortality and magic powers, and there's been hints at a wider gem society that might not exist anymore.

You know what's funny is that I read that megafauna can be described as any animal over 200 pounds, so apparently (some) humans are technically megafauna!

Dispatch War Rocket Ajax… to bring back his body!

Hey now, Green Arrow is no Aquaman. He actually has an origin story, for one thing!

He looks a heck of a lot blonder than Keanu Reeves, at least.

The second one was called The Legend of Zorro. It wasn't anywhere near as good as the first, but I still like it because of Antonio Banderas and Catherine Zera-Jones.

Man, the Antonio Banderas Zorro movies were tons of fun. I'm gonna go rewatch one of them now.
