Oh boy, trying Balan?
Oh boy, trying Balan?
Playing through New Pokemon Snap, about halfway through, I’d guess?
I’m down to try this weird system from the weirdos who made a game where you're an asshole goose. At ~$7.50 a game, and a committed 12 weeks of drops, it doesn't seem like a particularly risky gamble.
Jfc, hard pass on Murder Pokemon the Game.
I didn’t say it was his fault. It’s the fault of his parents who adopted a puppy they either couldn’t afford or didn’t care to listen to the vet on. It’s the fault of the parents that they put their 8-year-old child in the position of selling something he loves or watching a puppy suffer.
Eh, I believe it’s an accident in this case given that they’re signed under a subsidiary of the same label as BTS, and HYBE has more business sense than to deliberately piss off the second largest music market in the world.
It’s a cute story if you ignore the fact that an eight-month-old puppy should have received the parvo vaccine series and should never have gone through this.
I'm not sure if it's funny or sad that they knew they were making a political game and were prepared to deny it without the question even being raised.
A+ Zack!
Ah that last one. Americans’ delusion that we’re just the land of the haves and soon-to-haves despite all evidence to the contrary.
That sounds interesting! I'm glad this is coming to the Switch then, so I can check it out.
Yeesh, that price.
Your comment reminds me of tvtropes where tropes are not bad. They are just conventions and can be used in a good way or a bad way. If you want to be reductive, most things could be reduced to “fetch quests” in video games, since they largely require you to go from point A to point B to get something (an item,…
The Last Campfire was made by three people, cost $15, and had a couple of small stutterings in the 5 hours it took to play, but the story and world was so delightful, it was easy to shrug it off as part of the price of a small release.
Really excited for World’s End Club and SMT III. World’s End Club is by the same guy who made the Zero Escape series, so I’m really interested to see what he’s come up with next!
Hmm, potentially interested but I recall that the second one was not as well-received as the first. And the first one is kind of hard for me to recommend anyway because the gameplay is mediocre. The story and the aesthetic is so delightful that it carried me once I started, but it’s hard to say to someone “yes you…
Considering it will only return you to where you last used the amiibo, this seems a minor convenience at best. The article seems to imply it's basically effective fast travel anywhere and it's really not.
Same!! I'm currently replaying DQB2 and I love running around with Malroth. I'd definitely pick up a DQB3.
Most of the games I loved as a kid have been ported/remastered (Final Fantasy, LoZ, Super Mario RPG) recently enough or have had sequels (eg New Pokemon Snap) come out, so I’m mostly happy. The biggest one that hasn’t had either treatment for me is Radiata Stories. It's my biggest hope for at least a port someday.
Don’t bigger releases tend to come out on Fridays? So you can pick it up after work and play all weekend long.
