No need to be passive aggressive, I’m not talking about wage analysis. I’m saying one full time person can’t practically work 10-12 hours a day, 7 days a week. So when you’re a business and you need “coverage” you’re looking at at least two employees, maybe 3 to ensure people have days off, etc.

Fine, but as soon as you’re done, GET THE FUCK OVER

I, too, try to lead by example. My commute is frustrating for how ~70% of traffic cruises in the fast lane, and ~30% of traffic is in the slow lane, and the fast lane is a mixture of people who should be there and people who shouldn’t, while the slow lane is a mixture of people who should be there and people who are

Totally this. It seems a ton of people get butthurt over being passed as a point of egotism. I’ve incited road rage against me simply by passing people (not, in my opinion, closely or dangerously), which is insane. I want to ask these people, why do you fucking care?

If I am in the act of passing and someone comes screaming up behind me I will use my turn signal to indicate that I see them and will move out of the way as soon as possible.

If you can’t pass without obstructing other traffic, then you don’t have enough speed differential to the car you are passing. So you shouldn’t have started to pass when you did in the first place. And you should then decrease your speed and go back into the right lane to let those waiting pass, before continuing.

In my state and plenty of other states its the law that if someone is going faster then you and you are in the left lane you need to move over. The law in my state is specifically written so it does not matter if the person is going the speed limit or going 300 MPH its on you to move over. There is no language in the

$40k is one full time security guard, probably not including employment costs and health insurance.

You’re right about the first part, if you’re doing 60 or 160...

OR and this is a crazy revolutionary idea: drive the speed limit not in the left lane! Unless you have some crazy powertrip were you feel the need to control what other people are doing, because everybody knows that you’re special beautiful snowflake.

Speed limits exist to keep the lowest common denominators of society from killing the rest of us. Some of us are perfectly capable of safely driving at faster speeds and we shouldn’t have to be held back as long as we are not endangering others. Watch the video. It is not the people who are going faster than traffic

But see the key here isn’t enforcement of the law by average individuals upon everyone else (which is what traveling the speed limit in the passing lane is). The key is that you only pass in the left lane. Don’t just sit there. It’s dangerous. My speed is of no concern to you.

And I always drive slow but I also understand that means I need to stay glued to the right lane so other people can pass me.

One of the most critical pieces of information I can provide a person that feels the way you do is that it’s not your job to police the roads. If someone chooses to do something you consider dangerous, do what you have to do to be safe but don’t obstruct them.

This, forever and ever.

Tell that to the slow ass people driving 50 in the fast lane.

I don’t get why this is so hard for people to understand. I drive FAST always but have no problem letting someone FASTER go ahead of me. It boggles my mind.

It doesn’t matter if you are doing 60 mph or 160 mph, if there is someone behind you who wants to go faster than you do, then move the F over.

Even if we assume the $200k figure is true (it is probably _much_ less cost to the dealership to replace those wheels/tires), a given dealership would have to be robbed to this extreme once every 5 years.

The difference is towing from breaking a parking law on public streets, or towing from private property/towing from a location that blocks private property(such as a driveway).
