Are you referring to the C4 ZR-1? If so, I believe the engine was designed by Lotus, not Yamaha.

For those who don’t get it, I point out that Corvette has for some time seen themselves as not competing with Ford (Mustang) or even Porsche, but rather Ferrari. Look at IMSA.
