Langley AFB is a pretty important military facility, not some remote outpost in the middle of nowhere.

One of the few times i’m totally ok with this 🤣

I agree with you, especially because Honda is already late to this party. Jumping into the market with yet another “premium EV” is a strategy Honda should have followed 5-10 years ago. Now the market wants an affordable EV, and it seems like Honda still has to start at the top and work its way into cheaper segments.

PFfffft. Just what no one needs - A Premium Honda. That would be an Acura, right? Well, what I want as a non-rich-boi, is an EV or Hybrid that has Honda reliability and simplicity/utility, with Honda prices, and is better looking than the last ~7 years of ugly Hondii. At a REASONABLE price for normal people, first

How many ED ridden douchebags are left to buy these things?

My ex had a first gen Soul, and I really liked it. We did a lot of road trips in it. Got impressive MPGs too for how boxy they were. That car had no right to handle the way it did especially given how little it cost and the type of car it was.

I have a weird love for the 2nd gen Geo Metro 2 door hatch. I don't know why, but when I see one, I get a little thrill. I've never owned one or even driven one, but whenever I'm perusing the classifieds and one is available, I always think "maybe I should buy it..."

I had a Soul as a rental and it gave a really good first impression. I get why people like them so much.

First Gen Kia Soul.

A normal car to see around my neck of the woods is a CUV. And one model in one color stands out.

First-gen Opel Vectra.

46K is NOT attainable by anything close to “anyone with a pulse”.  Cash the GM check and please GTFO with that nonsense.

Now playing

I dunno... $318-397/mo. (in SoCal) w/$2,500. down doesn’t strike me as ‘anyone with a pulse’ ...but maybe that’s why my house is paid for free and clear.

We also have 6000 lb SUVs traveling at 60 MPH on 6 lane roadways in front of local suburban shopping centers. The mass exitance of local shopping centers with high speed, multi-lane roads between them really messes with us.

Sounds like commie gubbermint red tape talk to me!

Laughs in Brit as I drive 45 miles per hour in a metric country.
