These cars were pieces of garbage in the 80s and they remain so in 2021. I drove these things back then unlike you damn kids. Handling was so bad it was like driving a swimming pool with wheels.

I live alone, so I have no need for Costco-size items. I only wish I could purchase certain perishables like produce and bread in smaller quantities because that stuff sometimes goes bad in my household.

I down a few cups of coffee, put some energetic punk rock on the hi-fi and I am ready to start cleaning. I later apologize to my downstairs neighbors for the noise.

Like homes and new and used cars, the RV/camper market is bonkers overpriced right now. However, popup trailers (other than the Ailiner A-frame camper) are still being offered for cheap or free. ND all the way.

The prices for new and uses T@B campers has been at Tacoma-level craziness. Yet people keep finding the money for these things.

How will the teen find their car in a Vermont parking lot?

Newspapers are as prevalent as manual transmission station wagons.

My teenage son got his driver’s license earlier this year and he’s having a tough time finding a used car for under $3k that isn’t a 20 year old POS.

Blueberries also do better in acidic soil.

I was ripped off for homeowner’s insurance by USAA. I didn’t realize that my premium was so high until I tried refinancing my mortgage and the lender told me that she never saw a homeowner’s premium that costly for a house like mine. I dropped USAA and saved $2k/year with another insurer (and better coverage as well).

Ugh I hate invasive bamboo. It is damn near impossible to remove and provides no environmental value unless I start keeping pandas as pets.

In a way I miss the peace and quiet of the 2020 lockdown days. I wasn’t invited to post-work or weekend events because there weren’t any. I didn’t suffer from FOMO because there was nothing to miss. When I was a wee child, grandpa would play “got your nose” and he would grab my nose between his index and pointer finger and pretend he’d pull it off. We loved that game as kids but I guess it’s creepy now.

I only fly domestically once or twice a year but since my United Visa card reimburses me the $85 cost of Pre-Check, I figured it was worth a shot.

Paid leave is just like vacation!

A $2 million net worth may mean mom & dad own a modest house in Silicon Valley or the suburbs of NYC.

New teardrop campers often clock in over 2,000 lbs loaded and cost upwards of $20,000. $13k is a little pricey, but I am in the market for a tiny, lightweight camping trailer I can tow with a 4-cylinder car. NP.
