As the former owner of an 1980s Audi, I understand your pain and suffering.

In 1999 I bought a 1989 Audi 100 station wagon for $6k from my mechanic w/80k miles on it. The car was owned by me for 1 year. During that time, I encountered the following problems:

If such a turnaround were to be constructed in the US, it would cost $1.2 bn and take 30 years to be built.

Thank you for your service.

Thank you for your service.

I purchase a product called Dip-It. Place a few small scoops of the product in your percolator basket, fill the percolator with cold water, and run it for a cycle. Rinse out any remaining bits of Dip-It when finished. You’ll notice that the insides of your percolator will look shiny and new.

Wow I didn’t realize that. Thank you!

Lifehacker needs to run an article listing alternatives to their lousy slideshow format.

Pachysandra terminalis - which is recommended in Crossley’s linked article - is also terribly invasive and has wreaked havoc in forests here in the northeastern US. This Lifehacker piece is irresponsible.

I live in NJ and just about every new resident on my block has moved there from NYC. They are driving up our housing prices.

Many of those same products are available at Aldi (whose corporate parent also owns TJs) for a cheaper price.

The coach should have found the right business partners.

I’m at the age where I no longer care what people think of me when I am behind the wheel of a certain car. I settled for a 2016 CR-V because my 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee became a maintenance nightmare and I was flat broke. The Honda is dull, ugly and underpowered AF but it has gotten me to and from numerous camping

My kid was born in 2003 and after the ultrasound, my spouse and I didn’t want to know the sex of the kid until birth. We decorated junior’s room in green and yellow.

The Venn diagram of Americans who ignore travel advisories during a pandemic and those who throw gender reveal parties should be quite telling.

It looks good because 80% of the vehicles on the road today are white, black or grey/silver.

Hüsker Dü’s Warehouse: Songs & Stories contains .02% bass and I owned this on vinyl and CD back in the 80s.

How do I wash my down pillows?

My dad tried teaching me how to drive a manual sometime in the late 1980s using his 1978 Chevette. I would have benefitted from attempting this in a parking lot first rather than during busy New Jersey traffic as I stalled the car at every stop sign or traffic light and angered plenty of drivers.

That makes far too much sense.
