I’m also happy for the NBHS kids who pulled the whole thing off. In a rich state like NJ where the best HS theater programs are usually found in wealthy school districts, it’s a pleasure to see these students - who come from blue-collar, Latino families - get the attention and applause for their hard work.

I wash any dirty part of my cast iron skillet with soap & water, immediately dry it w/a paper towel and then recoat the thing with bacon grease I keep in a sealed container in the fridge. Keeps my cast iron rust-free and mostly non-stick.

I think my 7-11s only sell churros, soft pretzels and hot dogs that have been sitting out on heating elements for at least a week.

I’d love to live in a region of the country with lower housing costs, but I am taking care of elderly parents and my own children. I also am fortunate to have a job with a pension and I can’t telecommute to work from flyover country.
