Someone feel free to correct me, but I believe current canon is allowing Imperial Star Destroyers to go atmospheric. If I’m remembering the Battlefront book correctly they describe one going into atmo but make it seem like it isn’t an easy task if it plans on doing anything other than just sitting there.

Awesome series idea! It’s a bit of a dream of mine to be able to do a somewhat screen accurate Star Wars costume one day, but it can be a bit intimidating if you aren’t 100% where to look.

I’m just about to finish reading The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova and have been thinking the whole time that it could make an excellent film or mini-series. It’d be light on the action, but could do awesome stuff with a decent budget to focus on all the locations, ruins, attention to historical detail, etc.…
