The green barrel is Doomed, long live the red barrel!

The fact that there are DS games that can not be played on the DSi/DSiXL and that there are DS games that can not be played on the DS/DSLite should make it a dividing line for the system sales. Any game that requires a GameBoy Advance slot such as Guitar Hero can not be played on the DSi/DSiXL. Likewise, not that I

How do they determine this? If it goes based off of page loads, the fact that Facebook has an auto-refresh could increase it's number of hits considering people leave Facebook running while they aren't on the site.

I'm not going to lie, I was expecting the commercial to end with "Wow, that was bad... Would you like to be able to tell them how bad this idea was? Well, now you can."

Why are we ragging on the design being unimaginative? How much difference can we expect from a phone with the same 4.3" touchscreen with minimal extra buttons to keep the size pocketable made by the same manufacturer be from the Evo?

@A Ferret: Smelly but Lovable: On our 50" Panasonic, I can even see a difference between the HD delivered via DirecTV, which really crushes a lot of blacks giving an overall darker appearance, and blu-rays. Meanwhile, while a difference is still there, it is not as noticeable on the 32" Samsung since it's a lower end

@A Ferret: Smelly but Lovable: One of the things not even touched in the article is that resolution is not the only thing that determines how good a TV is. That is going to affect the usefulness of the blu-ray player in general. If you are watching a black and white movie on a high contrast TV like a Pioneer or

@A Ferret: Smelly but Lovable: What does a movie being black and white have to do with anything? Black and white movies can benefit greatly with the higher contrast transfers that blu-rays get and regardless of whether a movie is in color or black and white has nothing to do with resolution and audio.

This will be a great idea until people start thinking that the official website for the band's new album is meatspin.com (NSFWorH)

@2 replies: It seems as though parallel circuitry would be cheaper and more reliable than this method of solving the problem.

@CnEY: I don't think it's unreasonable at all to think that there were a bunch of people that were told they were receiving a placebo and thought that meant that they were getting something that is untested. When you factor in how many people can't even name the capital of their state or find the U.S. on a map it

There could be two things at work with this:

I think that gift cards for e-retailers can be OK because some people don't want to use a credit card on the internet or just plain don't have one. If you are buying a gift for a 16 year old that just got an iPod, an iTunes gift card is plenty reasonable knowing that they will want to get some games for their iPod but

@alex.wifiguy: I went to high school just as they were deciding that schools were not allowed to dictate what color your hair was or how you dressed as long as it wasn't offensive, dangerous, or revealing. It was a little odd with the way some teachers would try to enforce the old rules without any authority to do so.

@weshirecat: The fact that lifehack is on their is a bit odd considering you would think that the Lifehacker users would be more aware of not using such predictable passwords.
