It looks like an average girl wearing a fashion “swimsuit” designed for highly above average women.

I can see how that might be true. Every so often (it isn’t super-common in the northern part of the state), I see someone with an immense amount of plastic surgery, fillers, restylane. It may photograph well but, in person, it is uncanny valley and bespeaks an internal void. I don’t mean to judge; it seems more sad

Having seen the curated images, releasing a photograph like this when I was a teen would have saved me from decades of self-loathing. We had no idea about lighting, photoshop, and the rest of it: just believed that the world was divided into two camps — the preternaturally confident and beautiful and the defective

Two things:

I mean this gently, but perhaps in your pet’s soul, she would prefer that you donate that thousand dollars in her name to one of the many deserving animal shelters or humane societies in the country. And you could keep up with news of all of the good her memory is accomplishing there. It might just be transformative.

I love the idea of tattoos, and am also an un-inked person. But I hear ya on anticipatory grief. I’ve had a long haul with a cat with a rare infection, and she’s maybe recovering (knock hard on wood) but she’s the most wonderful, loving, rotten little brat of a cat and she’s at least fifteen now (she’s a rescue so we

The costs of good taxidermy are astronomical. I would never do it. I still keep my last dog’s ball at the foot of the stairs where it always used to roll when he left it laying around. I keep his collar on a nail beside the fireplace mantel and give it a shake every now and again to remind me of him. My heart broke on

There’s another option. There are companies that will make a stuffed animal version of your pet if taxidermy isn’t your jam. Of course they can create one while the pet is alive too since it isn’t made out of the pet.

What kind of rich, white bullshit is this?

This is merely observation, not judgement.

The weirder thing would be that she has spent the last couple of years taking part in creating images where her face looks like it’s been surgically altered to high heaven. While this photo looks like any work has actually been minimal and maybe it really was just ridiculous makeup and photoshopping that we’ve seen

Oh, I think Beyoncé is tremendously talented, which is why she doesn’t need to worry so much about her image, imo. Different reason than KK.

I can see why she doesn’t want people to know what she actually looks like, still perfectly fine, but wayyyyy removed from what she would rather you think she looks like.

wait... That’s Khloe?? She looks great but if she’d said it wasn’t her, I would believe it because this is unrecognizable.

She looks so uncomfortable, in general. Oy. She can feel however she wants about it and I don’t care to comment on her body either, but it’s hard to feel sorry for a family whose entire brand is based around making others feel bad about themselves. They’re always carefully controlling every image, every moment,

When young, rich and happy* aren’t enough

Here’s the photo, friends!  Boy does that look like an uncomfortable swimsuit!  The amount of pube removal I’d have to do to wear such a thing...it’s unthinkable.

She spent all that money on surgeries and altering her body only to fucking hate herself. Its actually kinda sad. This could have been done quietly as in, ignored or this could have been a teaching moment, a self reflection, a journey to acceptance....but she chose violence and now people are even MORE fired up to

I think they’re both ridiculous. Both women would be far better humans if they just relaxed their grip on their images.

This reminds me a bit of when Beyonce’s team reacted unfavorably over photos published of her performing at the SuperBowl.
