Yup. FWD and terrible.
Yup. FWD and terrible.
I did, unfortunately they have not made my wallet more full.
Yup, I know all the reasons. Still doesn’t make it less freaky to see that thing coming at your eye.
magnets are not safe. If you happen to come in at an angle you can further scratch your eye as it pulls out. Lifting it out is safer. “dremeling” it out is necessary to make sure all the residual rust residue is gone. No offense, but i’ll take the doctor in this case.
The worst would be the day I had to have rust lifted from my eye with a needle.
Dear People,
You all suck.
Sincerely,
Someone who has spent a lot of time enjoying Lime Rock
I just want to see the rig the car is sitting on. Was it actually running? He’s turning the wheel, so is the platform compensating, or because they’re “recapturing” the energy for cooking are the front wheels not powered, or is steering not connected. Couldn’t care about the food, these are the things I want to know.
From someone who has pulled the engine from one of those cars single-handedly on two occasions, I feel your pain. Those cars are a nightmare to work on. Nice job getting it done.
Lotus Elise. On the right road there is nothing else out there that even comes close to being as good to drive. 10 years in and I’m still giddy every time I get to use the car. 4900 miles over a week and a half in it didn’t suck either.
Yup. The still frame is from video taken on the boat. That one should be around somewhere too.
On any other day, you wouldn’t be wrong for thinking that.
Ah, that’s right. Thank you
I think it was. It was in 2013 at one of the east coast 24 Hours of Lemons races.
very clearly a broken tie rod on the driver side when they pull the front clip off. I’m sure that wasn’t helping the “go straight” part.
Wait, really? My 2012 WRX with ~80 less HP gets to 60 in the same time. Is this thing really that much heavier? I was seriously hoping it would be quicker than that.
For the record, just drill the plate to match the Japanese holes. You’ll never get a second look. The dealer was kind enough to not drill my front bumper on my WRX for american plates. 4 years with the modified plate in the japanese spec holes and not a problem. I think it’s technically not ok to modify the plate, but…
There should be a balance. trying to make cars idiot proof isn’t the right approach. If you want a drivers license you should have an ounce of desire to not be a menace on the road.
This one. Whole bunch of people saying “I suck at driving and paying attention, good thing my car does that now and I don’t have to”
Hey look. a bunch of ideas that just continue the trend of not requiring the driver to take any part in driving. They’re like that asinine mercedes commercial with people admitting they can’t recognize when they’re leaving their lane, but their car saved them.
