It’s amazing how much of a difference my perspective shift from “Do you really have to work Saturdays?” to “If you work Saturday I can do [X] guilt free!” helped both our relationship AND how I associate with free time.

I absolutely love and adore my husband but part of why our marriage works so well is that I have time to do my own things. My fave thing ever is taking myself to an early lunch then going to a movie. So blissful.

The Goldfinch is one of very few fiction books that I have started reading and didn’t finish. Most of those books are free reads on Amazon that are so terribly written/edited. With The Goldfinch I just got so bored I put it down and have not once felt any lingering desire to know how the story ends.

We watch it every week. I think this season is the best it’s been in a few years. Not every sketch is a home run but that’s true of every season. We haven’t watched the Drake episode yet but I heard it was Not Good.

I’m naturally thin but now that I’m getting older to not just be sort of lumpy that has to be MAINTAINED. I can get by with about 5 hours of exercising a week, but oh god would my body be amazing if I had someone forcing me to exercise hard 20+ hours and eat healthy 7 days a week.
