If I had one of these cars, I would just run it in "cheat" mode all the time. The cars already had more than enough torque and HP, a small drop won't be noticed by 99.9% of drivers.

Communication is key. Leave your phone number on a tag on your car or something. There are several signs and plaques on the market for communicating your status to other EV drivers.

I dive an EV with about 90 miles of range. I pretty much don't rely on public 240 charging stations, if I ever HAVE to, I don't ever have a feeling of confidence I will be able to use it...... it may be blocked, or being used, or broken, or just turned off..... I do almost all my charging at home.

I drive an EV and I get kinda angry when a plug-in hybrid is taking up one of the two charging spots at the mall..... so they can get their 12 (prius, ford energi) miles of electric range.
