This is brilliant.

I would be on board with this but my husband thinks sleeping in different beds would basically be a divorce. He holds that stigma strong. I hope this idea catches wind and ends up on the Joe Rogan podcast. Because then he would listen and maybe be up for it.

But I total get not wanting to have kids to make the world a better place and that there are people out there who do all this good without having had children. I don’t think its fair to play the “who is more UNselfish” game here.

It’s far more complex than a black and white “selfish/not-selfish scenario.” Yes it’s selfish for the reasons you spoke of but parenting itself can be made up of a lot of unselfish acts and can influence your perspective on world which may lead you to a lot of unselfish acts. There was something about becoming a

SOMEBODY MAKE THIS MAN PRESIDENT!

There are a couple wonderful German ones. The most resonating being Weltschmerz” - the depression you feel when you compare the current state of the world with the ideal state you were hoping for.

I highly recommend everyone go to YouTube and search for the Graham Norton episode with Steve Carrell where he talks about catching a fly in his hand and then Chris O’Dowd drinks the fly. It’s hilarious.

Will you marry me?

Oh yeah, I totally forgot to mention the fees! I’m corporate now and I’m the Plan Administrator and when I came in and transitioned our company’s plan, I fought hard on the fees, that the employer pay admin costs, and we have a safe harbor. So if you work for my company, I’m going to encourage you stay in the plan! :)

May I ask what your profession is?

I’m a CPA and I’ve had the pleasure of auditing hundreds of employee benefit plans over my career - even during the Great Recession. Yes, there are companies that match their executives up to the allowable Employer Contribution limit (~$57K) and they need to pass certain

Agreed. Some people tease me because we bring our dog to a daycare or hire a walker when we know we’ll be working long days or eating out after work. It’s not a “waste of money” to us, it’s just the cost of adding a pet to our family and a cost we planned for.

Be like my frugal mom and ask the waitress for a little bowl full of lemons and order an ice water. Than you can make your own lemonade right there at the table at Applebees!

Quiches are also a good way of clearing out some stuff in the fridge.

Are they called french fried onions? I thought the brand was French’s Fried Onions. Anyway, they made fried pickles this summer and they were so freaking good!

Where’s the article about getting the little boy pee smell out of the bathroom.

How about don’t, just don’t until they start using ethically sourced palm oil. It really bothers me that they give some lame, half-ass excuse for why they aren’t using RSPO.

All good tips! I feel like there should have been some focus around the “thorough” mixing. It’s really easy to overmix brownies and then end up with a batch of brownies that are “cakey”. There really is a “just right” amount of mixing to get that perfect consistency and it doesn’t always come to us non-gifted amateur

If you make this salted caramel galette on pretzel crust, can you please come back and tell us how it turned out?

Shout out to Costco which has a Kirkland brand Champagne - that is legit Champagne. From France. And tastes like a $60 bottle for $20.

I work so flippin’ hard to pack a Bentgo box for my kid that has a vegetable he eats, a fruit he likes, something crunchy, a turkey or ham sandwich and some fruit gummies or chocolate covered fruit. It takes time and it costs money. And EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. I take him grocery shopping - he gets so excited about the
