During the installation I learned that the software's request for a license key was more than just a permission for WMP use, but it was also a completely different license key

How will users who downloaded the Windows Media Player pack for Windows 8—which required a license key—be affected by Windows 8.1? I don't want to be forced to pay for something that was offered to me free of charge for being an early user.

I couldn't agree more! Beyond the look of Prezi, its ease of use is phenomenal.

You don't require HTC's Beats software to get a decent soundbed from Beats Studios. I use them as a daily driver for music and movies. Just as my past Sennheiser and Sony headphones handled movies and music brilliantly with and without equalization software or preamps, so have my current Beats set. I can accept sound

Though I never saw my Spotify and Pandora subscriptions as "replacements" for my music collection, the idea of music discovery and portability married together sold me on both services. Pandora works well even in low-signal areas for my EVO 3D, and Spotify does a great job of randomizing songs when I use its "radio"
