I was walking in Birmingham with my dad during that finals, and almost bumped into Jerry Buss’s bodyguard as they were walking down the street. Jerry was wearing a purple velvet track suit, and the body man was like 6'10" and well over 300 lbs, just massive. I’ll never forget how goofy it looked.

I think out of all the leagues, MLB is the best positioned. They won’t be taking a bath, but rather will keep expanding their revenue. MLBAM (or whatever they renamed the platform) is the backbone for the streaming services of the ESPN, HBO, NHL, and of course the MLB.

Selling the two teams would mean the family either sells or dismantles Olympia Entertainment. I can see unloading the Tigers, with the bad contracts and imminent down fail looming, but to sell the Wings and the stake in the LCA as they open it doesn’t make any sense. They are starting to announce all of the concerts…

Mark Hollis has been at the University for too long not to have sniffed this. He is one of the best ADs in the country, and rightfully should be out of a job soon.

I don’t know if there is such a thing as a cheap shot at the professional level, aside from not allowing an opponent to get set. If an opponent is giving the court away, force him to make a great a recovery shot.

Can he go to Barca? From what I understand the rivalry with Espanyol is political and fierce. He’s staying forever with Kane, Dele, Dier, Toby, and the Lloris. It’s not like Levy would ever sell the most valuable players in the team.
