They don’t. They think “He’s having to push back against all these savages, that’s why he looks unhinged! I look like that all the time, especially when my wife makes me beat her.”.
I still can’t understand how anybody can watch the way Trump behaves and think “yep, that’s good and normal.” If the guy who grooms my dogs behaved like this, spoke like this, tweeted like this... I’d find a new guy to groom my fucking dogs. And I’m not even talking about the abhorrent racism and xenophobia and…
Does Trump not understand that under treaties signed following the cessation of hostilities in the Pacific theater of WW II that Japan is not legally allowed to have a standing army for expeditionary purposes?
Like, Japan can and does have a defense force, but per treaty, that’s all it is supposed to be. The whole idea…
The United States Department of Justice, under Attorney General William Barr, has ignored tradition, precedent and the law and has acted as Donald Trump’s personal law firm.
“This case should have been dismissed. It presents important questions that warrant immediate appellate review and is another impractical attempt to disrupt and distract the president from his official duties,” a Justice Department spokeswoman said in a statement.
“I don’t know if it’s hyperbole,” but that “the hatred for this president is so intense, that people are liable to say anything.”
Yeah seriously. And to me, I’m like, LOL internet commenter who KNOWS Biden (or Bernie, or Harris, or whomever) is The One Who Can Beat Trump. Ok Nostradamus.
And this is why we don't care about polls right now. This is why anyone up in any internet comments section citing polling as the reason their candidate is the only one who can beat Trump is full of shit.
“Oh, and the gender discrimination lawsuit they filed against U.S. Soccer...”
Have you checked to see if they’re legally barred from discussing the issue while the lawsuit is ongoing? This isn’t a criticism, I’m legitimately curious.
I wanted to boost this because simply put, it’s one of they keys to understanding the Trump-Kushner mentality and how it plays a role in American life. The rich are used to throwing money at their problems to make them go away so they’re absolutely paralyzed when that doesn’t work.
When you’ve been able to buy solutions your whole life, the concept that others can’t do the same is simply alien.
The thing is also like...we can smell the “win at all costs” attitude a mile away. It's not attractive.
Trump is the only thing PREVENTING us from going to (more) war. Aggghhhhh Jesus fucking Christ.
This will not end well. Mango Furious should listen to VIzzini:
Even more dumb than the “don’t criticize other candidates” line is that Sanders is attempting to assert this isn’t a criticism of Warren.
Now is the perfect time.
Again, in recent Democratic presidential primary history, alienating the base of bad candidates leads to victory in the general election and alienating the base of good candidates leads to failure. I can understand forgetting something from over a decade ago, but something from three years ago?
3) He’s not demonizing moderates, he’s demonizing the financial pull that corporate america has over our “moderate” candidates. If Warren (or anyone) wants to really be viewed as a progressive candidate and take any of Bernie’s base away from him, she needs to proactively move away from their money.
Read more to me like he was attacking Third Way and the DLC. Either way, I’m fine with either Warren or Sanders. My only concern now is that Warren may wind up compromising herself if she starts relying on support from the corporate wing of the party.
