@illiniphase4: Hmm... It doesn't seem like an actual demo to me. It's more like a staged simulation. Given the nature of the event, the main purpose was spectacle and fanfare. A real demo wouldn't necessarily fulfill that purpose as well as a simulation.

@neoflux: "Mostly I was just saying you would think they would have more going for them by now, you know?"

@Aashish Bhagyanagar: I know it's not a bad device. I own one and it's the most awesome PMP I've ever owned. Its main problem is its non-existent marketing and customer knowledge.

@neoflux: Did I mention Apple, anywhere?

Seeing the comments I guess I'm in the minority when I say it looks hideous.

@neoflux: Oh, so you actually knew about them then? You tricked us! This irrelevant company that has the highest profit margins of any tech company in the world. Mind-blowing revenue and profit be damned, they're doomed. Doomed I tell you!

@LVP: Do people still think it was purgatory? They were alive, ffs.

@Emperor_was_a_jerk: Those who made a big deal about no porn on the iPhone are as ridiculous as those who are making a big deal of it now.

Is this really that big of a deal? It wasn't (Gizmodo made a big deal about it though!) when the iPhone rejected porn apps, and it isn't a big deal now. Their store, their rules.

If you liked it then you should've put a case on it.

@AdamKaoru: If Apple decides to put iAds on Android (and hell freezes over), Google won't/can't stop them. That's the difference.

@anoteoftruth: So buy it. Let others buy other things if they prefer. The features you list are selling points to you, but not necessarily to everyone else. Choice: It's a beautiful thing.
