I would also add that you want to lock on during battle by clicking the right thumbstick. This makes it MUCH easier to position yourself around the enemy for flank and back attacks.

It’s clear that this series isn’t your “thing” from the get-go. For those of us that love the handheld DS ‘Vanias, this game is absolutely incredible.
