If you want an actual fight, you should put down a red soapstone sign outside the Pontiff Sulyvahn bonfire. Invaders’ only goal is to kill you by any means necessary; the standard dueling etiquette of Dark Souls (no estus, no ganks, etc.) doesn’t apply.
