At the end of the international trailer (around 2:12) it briefly plays a motif that sounds a helluva lot like Stranger Things.

It sucks that they were all “part of a club they never asked to be in” because of that article, but one wonders if that label would have stuck to them if they hadn’t made such a big deal about hating it so much.

I’m confident that Mr. Shore will supply the same thoughtful gravitas, subtlety, and attention to detail he puts into all of his roles.

She was amazing in that movie (which is an underrated comedy IMO, despite the detestable presence of Kevin Spacey - who unfortunately has some of the best lines). I also quite enjoyed her playing Diane’s mom on Cheers in one early episode.

So we had Thanksgiving where the killer dresses up for the holiday in a pilgrim’s outfit, and now there’s Founder’s Day where the killer dresses like a founding father. Next up is Arbor Day where the killer is a giant shrub, followed by Grandparent’s Day where a pair of octogenarians dispatch victims with Werther’s…

What always really amazes me about the OGL fiasco earlier this year is that people forgot the fact that they tried almost the exact same thing back in 2008 with 4th edition.

All I know is if WB were to come out with a 24-hour channel streaming nothing but classic (late 1930's - late 1950's) Warner Brothers cartoons, I would watch the hell out of it.

Yeah, Jackson really leaned into the pot jokes, even though the books clearly state it’s tobacco. Although to be fair, even the characters in the books do seem oddly obsessive about it (similar to how Tolkien was IRL about his pipe smoking, I suppose).
