I’ve never seen so many people grovel and strut at the same time.

Crabtown will never be the same.
Rush Limbaugh suspended his own Twitter account in protest. Win-win.
Finally watched The Mummy for the first time a couple of months ago - was well done, with some amazing photographic effects for 1932.
Everyone will talk about how awful it is, and how “Fighting never wins” (or whatever T-shirt-ready slogan they come up with next), how they should invoke the 25th Amendment or Impeach him again, how surely the GOP has learned it’s lesson this time, etc., ad nauseum.
People are pointing to the 25th because Impeachment takes too long and they’d never get 2/3 of the House and Senate (which is disgusting in itself after yesterday’s shitshow); but of course if Pence actually used the 25th it would go like this (from what I understand):
In Carell’s final season (7), it was clear that the writers were making a point of having Michael “evolve” somewhat - especially after he reconnected with his lost love, Holly. Yeah he still hated Toby, but not quite as much after he was forced to spend time with him; sure he still liked Todd Packer, but finally…
It was fine I guess, but it was one of those late-season, improbably elaborate “pranks” that just serves as another example that the writers had long since run out of ideas.
Finally, the Pleasantville/Marvel crossover we’ve all been waiting for.
He’s a doctor in the same way Rudy Giuliani is a lawyer.
I see 2020 couldn’t resist one last kick in the balls on its way out the door.
Yeah, that’s kind of where I am with The Stand remake right now; as much as I loved the book and (sort of) liked the old miniseries, I have no interest in watching it anytime soon. I know it’s not exactly the same scenario, but... still.
Hard to explain, but I actually feel slightly oilier every time I look at his face.
McCartney and Starr both said they remembered those days differently, but after the Let It Be movie and all of the press articles about the crappy mood surrounding the White Album sessions, Paul said he started to believe it himself; he was relieved when Peter Jackson said the footage showed a much lighter atmosphere.
Just to clarify - Clapton wasn’t even in the apartment when his son fell, the boy was with his mother and a housekeeper.
They tried a miniseries reboot in 2005, which was... not great.
I didn’t really care for 11.22.63 when it first came out, probably because I had just read the book; while I appreciated the production values, I found some of the plot changes to be unnecessary and distracting. But I just recently just gave it a second watch, and with the benefit of time it kind of grew on me.
Angela’s cats are so cute that you just want to eat ‘em. But you can’t eat cats. You can’t eat cats, Kevin.
So... Disney is creating a “real world” origin story for a fictional, CGI-generated astronaut toy. Got it.
He was clearly influenced by Jon Voigt when they were in The Champ together in the 70's.
