Nintendo combines its console and handheld lines, from here on out releasing machines that can be played portably or at home, maybe connected to a TV, maybe not, no longer splitting its formidable game development talent across two different machines and instead having all of its developers work together to make great

Nintendo starts making games for smartphones, which maybe happens alongside them still making games for their own hardware. This is the move the company gets asked about all the time and repeatedly waves off since it would be seen as an abandoning of company philosophy that it can only make the best games if it has

I'm checking:

If you're looking at carbs/serving, you should also consider what the serving suggests. e.g. there are packagings saying bla per serving (30g) and the package contains 100g and normal people eat that in one sitting.

Sorry I tried to force my opinion on you. I think it's just useless, it's not cool, it's not retro, it's a waste of time. My opinion. if they included lo-res sprites, I would have found that a neat extra but I'm aware that this would have meant a lot of extra work, nothing someone can do in their spare time.

As I am not a backer, I didn't watch the documentary, I just checked the video posted above and think it's shit. That "neat little extra" is like "Oh let's check it out, OHGOD, switch it back off!".

I expected Double Fine to know the difference between retro and blurry, pixelated shit. Let's take Monkey Island to prove my point (sorry for the quality, I just made this with Paint)

Really? So you would say we should not discuss the relation between Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker because maybe there are people out there who after 30 years still haven't watched The Empire Strikes Back yet?

Maybe it's bad for the developer, but the publishers and console manufacturers may be blamed as well. There are Platinum, Select and Classics editions of games, sometimes not so long after a game's release. There are GotY editions containing DLC for the same price they asked earlier for the stand alone game. And

Even better than the Vita: Add smartphone functionality to a Nintendo handheld and I'll stop using a smartphone. Since handhelds cannot replace smartphones I need both. If it can work the other way round, why not drop one.

Curse you, I was just about to forget that that series actually existed...

agreed, the portrait looks awesome

Hiring new developers in the final production phase of a game doesn't do any good, you know?

This, but keep it short, it usually only takes seconds. And be careful if it's in plastic, that melts if the honey gets too hot.

I love the crystals in my honey. Some years ago I bought extra large pots just so it has time to crystallize.

I don't get this anyway, I mean there are so much better games of that kind. Like the original Bejeweled which feels so much more awesome when playing. Or Puzzle Quest, which puts an actual story around all the puzzling, including leveling system, magic, like all things RPG.

Yes, you can use summer tires in the winter. They will stop the car. At some point, somewhere.
