After listening to the Undisclosed podcast, I am much less convinced that he’s guilty. I mean he still could be for all I know, but the prosecutors and detectives did so many shady things that weren’t even revealed in Serial. It is easy to see that they weren’t after the truth, they were after a closed case.

Michigan apparently has a form of indeterminate sentencing where the legislature sets a maximum sentence and a judge sets a minimum sentence. When the convicted person reaches the minimum sentence he’s allowed to go in front of a parole board to ask for release on parole, but must serve at least the minimum.

Honestly, I think it’s because as a female you are worried you’ll be judged if you don’t show up. Dudes just take for granted that they can stay home when they are sick, their kid is sick, or it’s dangerous to travel.
Sad but true. Essentially any place where men are the dominant power forces have hidden sexual abuse and harassment scandals because men get away with it. No male-dominated industry has escaped it.
No, I think she’s onto something here. The NAACP is clearly a racist organization that needs to be disbanded or countered with a national association for the advancement of white people. We as a people have been under represented in society for too long and our plight needs national attention.
