How could you not love that game, it is one of the quirkiest and most interesting games in the series. The adventure was shorter than its predecesors but the interactions with the NPCs and the masks made it something that I haven’t experienced again.

Megaman 2 was game with the biggest formative influence on me. The boss fights were addictive, the music got stuck in my head, the password grids quickly filled up a legal pad, and the Wily stages are still just bonkers, especially without those five-year-old reflexes.
