At this point, if people aren’t aware of the general difficulty of a Souls game, it’s their own fault.

Damn, I must be the only person who legit loves Age of Calamity.

I’m never getting Ike and Roy in a Warriors game, am I?

I’m going to choose to believe you already know that Harbinger is the Big Bad in Mass Effect 2.

Friendly reminder that Metroid Dread is better than at least half the games on this list.

I have zero regrets about buying Mass Effect a couple weeks ago.

Reach has always been my favorite, but it’s no stretch to say that the Bungie games have a much tighter narrative to them.

I mean; was there supposed to be any surprise to it? Anyone with even the most basic knowledge of Halo knew that The Weapon was some sort of copy/alt file of Cortana that Halsey had stashed away somewhere; an “In Case of Emergency, Break Glass” Cortana, if you will.

An aside from the list (which is pretty good): I’m digging the art style used for these gifs.

This is a reach that would make Dhalsim proud.

Winter Falcon got nailed HARD by Covid; allegedly the Flagsmashers subplot was supposed to revolve around them releasing a virus, which had to be retconned in a real quick manner.

You can’t handwave away 8 excellent episodes by saying “the ending battle sucked” (which is another discussion altogether). And Wanda will get her comeuppance at some point in time (although probably not in Multiverse of Madness). But, you are right about Hawkeye: it has been far, far better than anyone imagined it

Counterpoint: Castlevania is fucking incredible.

For everything you can say about the ancillary problems with Halo: Infinite (and there is a LOT that you can say), the game plays like a dream, and is the most fun I’ve had with Halo MP since Reach.

8 v 8 CTF on Blood Gulch, played on theater screens in college. My team shut out a bunch of trash talking jerks 3-0. Some athletes talk about being in “The Zone”, where everything slows down, your reflexes are on point, and you can’t miss: this was me with the shotgun on this day.

Bravo for replying in such a thorough and cromulent manner.

Oh for the love of fuck; I know you guys have a weird, misplaced hate-boner for it, but Metroid Dread is ABSOLUTELY one of the best games of 2021.

Remember: Guardians of the Galaxy is a game that exists. Also, for Switch players: Ultimate Alliance 3 is pretty rad.

I think the most egregious issue in this article is someone is actually willing to pay Ice Cube $9 million to do anything in 2021.

Oh look, another dig at Metroid Dread. I thought maybe that well had gone dry for you all, but lo and behold, there’s still oil there.
