They’re certainly not my cup of tea but North Americans love SUV’s for hauling people and their shit. What I don’t understand what’s so offensive about performance variants on these vehicles. Why the hate?

I’ve had two: 2012 and 2017) - styling on both were far superior IMO. The new Jetta just seems so...tall? Something is off with the proportions. My 2017 pictured below - same colour, zero modifications (including suspension). It was just right.
