On a similar note, I'm looking to design a Bluetooth connected volume control, so I can use my phone as a universal remote for the various things plugged into my speakers.

We use Rice Bran Oil in our fryer at work. It hold up really well and doesn't impart a flavor (other than old oil flavor that means it's time to change it).

Yep, that will guarantee that your peeler gets dull and your bit gets rusty.

Think about it this way: the time it takes you to go to the store is worth the amount of money you usually make in an hour.

Anybody know a way I can adjust the volumes of individual programs.

Yeah, that's what I tried to imply with the last hypothetical situation, but there are many ways to be pretentious about brand names, it's not just the people who buy for the name.

People who care about it in either direction, i.e. "you should just buy $10 sunglasses" or "i want to remove my logo so other people don't think poorly of my purchase" or "i want everyone to know about my purchase".

High density plastic, glass lenses with polarization, warranties, etc. You can get these things without buying Ray-Bans, but you cannot get them for $10.

I've bought new PCs for my parents business every few years for the last decade or so. Usually it involves me going online, finding the local deals, comparing the specs, then taking whichever parent is up for an upgrade to the store so they can feel out the computers I choose, then we buy the one they like the best.

I never understood the negative attitude towards scars. They are the stories of your life.

When you go to reinstall Windows, make sure to backup iTunes.itl in whatever folder you keep your iTunes library. After the reinstall, and after you reinstall iTunes, hold shift while clicking the iTunes shortcut. It will ask you to locate iTunes.itl... bam, all your playlists and ratings are preserved.

I do this in iTunes. It doesn't natively support multiple genres, but I seperate mine with a comma anyway. I listen to a lot of rock music (the majority of my music though I do listen to just about every genre), so I might have "Rock, Punk", "Rock, Alternative", etc, then I just create smart playlists with Genre

I find the first 2-4 weeks are the hardest, but if you force yourself to push through them, then you will really start to notice the difference.

That's why I love Nova. It's everything I love about the stock launcher, with the features I wish it had, ie, changeable grid size, changeable # of home screens (5 is too many for me), and app drawer folders.

My parents did the pick your own punishment thing one time, I don't think it worked. They phrased it like this though, "If you were in my shoes, how would you punish your son." I told them, "I don't know, I'm not a parent."

On my computer, I opened up Word and found all the tones: for your ease (1st tone) āēīōū (2nd tone) áéíóú (3rd tone) ǎěǐǒǔ (4th tone) àèìòù.

This is great for those of us who like to type pinyin with the tonal indicators. Thanks.

I've got a Galaxy Nexus, and I just found the program Easy Phone Sync. I don't know if it works with non-Samsung devices, though.

I just recently got a pair of Philips headphones that have three bumps on the skinny part of the bud before the cord only on the left side.

Sorry for a late reply, just going through my Reader. Anyway, on the Swiftkey site, they say it is for 10" devices, and that 7" devices do not support the feature.
