I agree completely. You said it much better than I did. I was just trying to point out that you can turn off your phone whenever you want, you can sleep in complete darkness... But, diet and exercise should never be left out of the equation. Its too important.
I would also include to eat a healthy balanced diet and get more exercise. Both of these have been shown to help quality of rest overall if I’m not mistaken.
I actually think my wife would be more worried if she looked through my phone and found no history rather than something mildly strange... constantly clearning my history would definitely be more of a red flag that I’m trying to hide something.

Overall, after reading the comments, Tim is ok.
My only issue with having a touchscreen for everything is that eventually it gets covered with fingerprints.. which means I will have to clean it.. And, unlike my phone, I can’t just rub it on my pants leg.
Has anyone noticed that in recent years that loud sneezes have gotten more mainstream? I swear that in years past that people would hold them in, or try to be quiet. But, it is like a screech bomb goes off at work several times a day when people basically yell out their sneezes. Scares the crap out of me every time..
The only bit of contrary informatoin that I would put out there is that almost everyone has a phone, while the same percentage of people don’t have a car new enough to have all of the distractions you describe.
Two things that I’ve found that helps for that type of communication are practice and writing them out so you can get your thoughts in line before having to bring it up to your leadership.
I’m definitely going to give this article to several people that I work with. Each is struggling to figure out how to communicate the inadequacies of people they work with. Its not so much conflicts in personality or other interractoins. It is simply that the people can’t/won’t learn how to do the work.
I definitely don’t miss the days of doing a technology support function where we got hundreds of emails a day about this process succeeding and that process suceeding... Hard to pick out the two or three where things didn’t work.. that is for sure.
I have questoins that will help me answer this delimma... Are we assuming that we have the skill needed to drive these cars to the point where they are fun?

The company that I work for does a pretty good job with vacation days... it increases every 3-5 years until capping out. I currently get 23 days a year, with the ability to carry over 5 into the first quarter of the next year.
