As someone who spent a year+ of Saturdays doing metal work on a Jeep YJ tub to rid it of rust and convert it to a CJ tub I think I can speak from a bit of experience in saying that for an amature, this guy is pretty damn impressive. Some of the complex shapes that he fabricated are alot harder than they appear.

Why has no one mentioned how this made the bed bugs feel? Being compared to this guy... that is just insulting. And, I think an apology is in order.

To share a short point so you can avoid at least one pitfall. Don’t mention that you are coming from out of town to buy a car. Especially in my limited experience a used car.. I always revert to ‘Cui Bono’ or Who Benefits. I do like the idea of questioning your assumptions though. But, in general, when I hear of some research, or read a news story I try not to jump to a conclusion until I think about the source of the information and how they might benefit by giving the information.

Part of me wants to agree and sympathize with the guy... but, he knew enough to use a towel to protect his hand from how hot the cap was... yet somehow missed that whatever is in that container is steaming hot as well.

I have actually converted to this response. I used to flip people off when they did something offensive. But, eventually I realized that many times they have ZERO clue what they did. So, all they see is some a-hole giving them the finger for no apparent reason.

Or that the problem isn’t ‘Everyone else’... the problem is actually much closer to home...

There are definitely people out there (I might be one) that get annoyed when people call my Jeep a ‘truck’... Its a Jeep. Does it do some truck-like things..yes, fine.. but, I have carried 4x8 sheets of plywood in my 2002 Jetta... does that make it a truck? no.

It is almost as though you can have two terms or phrases that reference the same object or idea... what an amazing idea!

There really are an endless number of things in life that are better if you ‘go slow and stay calm’...
