I recognize your viewpoint and your feelings as valid, as only a senseless cockweasle invalidates the feelings of others. And I feel like the message in your final sentence resonates on a broad level, in that people can be different and have different experiences, and yet they are still worthy of equal respect as

Thank you. I’m uncomfortable with the assertion that gay people that don’t “act gay” are necessarily assimilating as opposed to just being themselves. I agree that right now there is a dominant single story of what gay people are like (just like straight people), and that’s a problem, but that doesn’t mean there

Am I wrong for thinking that gay people can be all of the above in whatever combination is most authentic to them? Some can be what you describe as “faggy” and some can be boring and basic. And some wild ones can be one way in some situations and another way in other situations? I’m just tired of the way we’re told we

I don’t think you’re in the minority with that one, which is why this piece feels extremely offensive to me, labeling someone else that way even by another gay man.

That’s it.

I’m 100% with you on not giving a shit if straight “allies” don’t like our language. But speaking as an accomplished cocksucker, I’m not super comfortable with this part:

Christ, you’re an ass. Jaywalking gets you killed. Selling cigarettes gets you killed. Being law-abiding and successful gets you lynched by popo. Come on fellow Wypipo, is there anything we haven’t killed black people for?

Never for one second did I think a chubby teenaged marching-band nerd attacked an armed and uniformed cop. This bastard now freely admits it that didn’t happen.

The sooner you realize Black lives don’t matter, the sooner you can find a piece of mind. Any other thought or reason only serves to stress and deteriorate the soul.

What a mean spirited post. Some guy feels insecure about his appearance, and your answer is to write a rant at him about his privilege. Unbelievable.

We can’t afford it! But if you want to add an extra lane to a highway, there’s always money somewhere... Has anyone checked a teacher’s pension fund?

This is even better news, these changes make cities more walkable, a little bit more ecologically concious, a nicer place to live and work but also keep people like you away. Excellent.

And now you have roads with NO bike lane. You save drivers lives but kill the cyclists?

I use this sucker

I know what I'm getting into here, considering how bizarrely conservative Gizmodo's commenters are. But it's profoundly political that Atlanta doesn't have an effective public transportation system: white people live in the Atlanta suburbs, by and large, and black people in the urban core, by and large, and the white
