I was there! It was awesome, she rarely broke character and was yelling and being spicy to all the big bus’s driving by!

This is Gunther. She loves Netflix!

I’ve been to Guatemala with my sister back in 06 and it was awesome! Started in Antigua and then bused it to Copan and around to the Belize border, up to Tikal, Guatemala City and then home. I never felt in danger, but my sister and I stayed on the beaten path and were pretty conservative as to where we went, when.

True to some degree. The pilots trust the lead FA and usually back us. I have never had a Captain question my judgment. i would never over reach though, so I only decide on cabin management issues, including kicking people off.

I wish this was just the rule. The biggest pushback I get is asking for children to be safely buckled or restrained and having their parents refuse.

If possible, try traveling with a car seat. Smaller kids don’t adjust well to the “no lap after 2" rule, but they are very used to a car seat.

Lucky!

We asked for no gifts as our wedding as it was a weekend away and the rooms would be expensive. We still got a few presents, but they were from the heart, and relatively simple.

Such a great idea!! Totally stealing this!

I actually feel bad for the pass-giving employee. Because it wasn’t the pass-takers who complained, it was a random passenger who witnessed the conversation and went to Twitter. At the same time, I lecture my pass-takers about the dress code and expected behavior and will take them away if I don’t think they will meet

Now that’s a great question!!

The operating cabin crew will know, as well as gate agents and ground crews. There is a level of expectation of behavior for non-revs.

I’m sure pants would have been fine, as that is what the policy states. Perhaps a dress was all they had available in their carry on?

Actually I disagree. The dress code does not assign a gender to anyone. Anyone could wear shorts, dress pants or jeans.

Flight attendant here, echoing what many others have said. This is not a thing. Leggings are actually not pants. On my airline cargo shorts would also not be allowed but jeans are fine, sleeveless is fine, just look business casual. Even sandals is not ok, closed toe is best.

Actually that is illegal in Canada. (Sorry to rain on your parade) Every airline has a liquor license and so bringing your own alcohol on board is like taking extras to the bar. The pressure of being inflight (aircrafts are pressurized to about 8000 ft) makes the alcohol have a stinger effect, so 1 drink on the ground

I hope this works!#wherearetrumpsteeth
