Let’s hope. But honestly I doubt many will care what Trump does, or doesn’t do, for them.

It wasn’t ridicule, it was observation. These people do cling to their guns and relgion. And no, they aren’t ridiculed for believing in religion or the 2nd amendment. They are ridiculed for thinking that THEIR religion should dominate all others points of view, and for being so gun nutty that even the smallest,

Words that potentially carry a ton of baggage. If your words do that, find better words, or deal with the potential blowback.

Did I say she couldn’t be mad? I was mad at the play, and I’m not even a Bills fan. She also knew by the time she tweeted that the play didn’t end his career.

Sherman didn’t know it was a dead ball at the time (can’t believe I’m defending him on this play) and she clearly knew it didn’t end his career by the time she sent the tweet after the game.

Oh right, the way YOU process things is the same as anyone else. No one else could possibly see the same thing as you and process it in a way that could come to a different conclusion based on their life experiences. My bad.

See, I would say the opposite. Regardless of her intention, the fact that she tweeted this reveals a decent does of ignorance on her part about the racial history of this country. Ignoring that history is what perpetuates racism.

Do we not? I mean, is that supposed to be a cogent argument or something? “God forbid we use our brains to process language and culture like thinking human beings. That shit’s for losers”.

Is it clear from the start? Can you read her mind? On its face that could be seen as a very racist statement by her depending on your point of view. A white person threatens to mutilate a black person over a fucking game? That’s not a great look. Even if you give her the benefit of the doubt it still reveals a big

So you know for a fact how she meant that? You can read her mind? Must be a fun skill.

Where did I say she was racist? Where did I jump to that conclusion? I’ve actually said multiple times on this page that I didn’t think she meant anything racist.

Based on a play in a game. Her husband wasn’t dying. He wasn’t stabbed. Her husband was hurt for a minute and then was fine enough to bounce back and play the game again. Frankly if she’s really that worried about aggressive play in football game maybe she should encourage him to quit.

Where did I say that it was?

Where did I say that? She’s allowed to say whatever she wants.

I’m willing to give her the benefit of the doubt, I doubt it was meant as anything racist on her part. But it’s also not a great look and it could be easily misinterpreted.

Mental gymnastics? Nope, just a very basic understanding of the history of this country.

Maybe she meant nothing by it, but she likened a black man to livestock and threatened to castrate him for being too aggressive. If you can’t see how that could be interpreted as racist I’m not sure what to tell you.

Not really. Miley or Katie or Bey or whoever can have the effect of mobilizing Hillary leaning voters (aka young people) who would otherwise have a low propensity to vote.

Do those people look or act anything like the “bros” presented in this ad?

There’s a difference between saying “this name is dumb and should change” and saying “this name is so sacred you should base your vote for President of the Goddamn United States on defending it”.
