I think the Ray Johnson bit was the Rake Joke of its time. It just went on and on despite other people's attempts to cut it short. What little humor it had (for me, anyway) came from the reactions of the people to whom he was speaking.

Yeah, around 2000, 2001 or so. I gave up pretty quickly when I started seeing the "WORST EPISODE EVER" posts practically nanoseconds after the episode aired.

This was a great episode. Archie's speech near the end still gives me a chill.
