Reading a well-researched article on the International Relations and foreign policy of China and Russia will dismantle the myth of them “moving in” or any sort of imperial desires. If you look carefully (particularly in the case of China, as Russia is still pretty fucked from the US-backed neoliberal shock therapy

Bernie and Warden are barely leftists; as they would be considered center-left in Europe.

I drive on Highway 24 regularly, and people going 120 on some sections is unsurprising. The road is incredibly well-maintained, cops are rarely ever seen on 24, and people casually cruising at 85+ toward Oakland is really common.

As a trans woman who doesn’t really believe in the supposedly magical and liberatory trickle-down effect of representation and doesn’t have money to spend on racing cars, I would also like Jalopnik to feature the first openly trans military weapons executive on Foxtrot Alpha as well as the first openly trans person at

As someone who previously worked at a bike shop that worshipped steel bikes, good for you for actually getting your frame repaired instead of binning it.

You should also get your frame coated inside with Frame Saver as to not let it rust out!

Lol it’s Hennessey, he wasn’t even paying for new Lotus Elises, let alone gliders from Lotus, for the construction of the Hennessey Venom GTs. Someone should run carfaxes on the Lotus VINs of the Hennessey Venom GT, as a 1.4 million dollar car should not be sourcing donor vehicles from the used market, but should be

“extremely high bar” seems to be right below the worst of 80s conversion van builders

3M VHB double sided tape, the crap that’s on GoPro mounts. Attach x to y? Just get some of this stuff and boom

i thought Elon pulled the plug on the official Tesla parts counter providing parts for the team because Elon's draconian views on repairing cars

I see two, and they are on the headrests. The logo is tacky, and isn’t even original. They copy the Top Gear logo. It annoys me. I’d get those headrests undone to get rid of that logo. If I had to let it stay, I’d let the small clarion logo stay, as it’s in a very elegant font.

This particular NSX has been so overhyped. Someone buy it, get rid of the Clarion logos that are plastered about, figure out what happened when Matt Farah felt something was wrong with it, and drive it for one’s own love of cars.

This is also not even an American spec car. I’ve seen this car in person, and it’s as bad as it looks in the pictures. It’s been around it’s fair share of dealers trying to shop it around......but please be aware this is an Asia spec car, so be prepared for a healthy amount of cash to make it less like Michael Bay’s

It’s not a Hennessey, so it should be better than what we expect from supercharged Vipers.

I’m coming back from Pebble Beach about two years ago; and I just used the last of my money on the 100 dollar ticket to get into the Rolex vintage car races. I had about half a gallon, but my gas gauge was broken, On the way back, I decide to hypermile it with the AC off on a 91 degree day. I only dared to use the AC

Beta products and minimalism go hand in hand within the world of Elon Musk and Pals

Shift knobs. You can’t go wrong.

The cheapest drivable E30 within a 400 mile radius. Then proceed to start the adventure by driving it back.

Even as we have lots of moral differences between us, my father and I bonded over our mutual fascination of mechanical compenentry. We would go into deep discussions about the processes of making certain components within a car and the tolerances of parts within Benzes compared to Toyotas. We really learned from one

This 1986 E30 325e. It was nearing 250,000 miles and had a timing belt that needed to be replaced, as it was kind of overdue to die. It was also 600 dollars (at that time, the cheapest functional E30 one could find from Sacramento to Santa Cruz) and unusually, the owner even would accept 550 when we were paying
