Run literal rings around them and brag about how little you spend on fuel. And then do what I do constantly with my Sonoma, and ease into “impossible” parking spots with little effort at all.

A lot of very stupid people think the kids need to be as far apart as possible in back. While I know plenty that raised 2 kids and transported them everywhere in a civic. 22 hour drive from Chicago to Orlando with two kids in back and no “infotainment system”.
As a millennial with two cars as well, I agree with you that most people are buying used.
Most consumers believe anything smaller than a Malibu is a small car. and many consider a Malibu too small for their lifestyle. Why? I don’t know, people are idiots.
Or just as likely that people *think* they need a big car to carry kids. Why do all other regions of the world get by just fine with a Fiesta (or moped!) for a family car, but we need a 3-row SUV for one child and a dog?
