Thank you. I came here to say this. People keep asking for stories about real people that are inclusive. THIS IS A FUCKING REAL STORY THAT IS INCLUSIVE. SO REAL IN FACT THAT IT FUCKING HAPPENED. Unless white women now have to either date within their race or no one is allowed to tell true stories about interracial

Personally I’m tired of people attacking interracial relationships. I hated when Jill Scott did it several years ago and I hate it now. Because underneath the rant about interracial relationships is the hatred of biracial people. We get it, you don’t think we should exist.

And by earning white love, the Asian man gains acceptance in a society that has thwarted them from the very beginning.

Totally true, that song and this charming man have their place in the heaven of great good songs.

one simple and accurate gauge of this is the fact that he wrote how soon is now, easily one of the greatest songs ever made.

Hush, you. He’s a brilliant lyricist, magnetic frontman, and endearingly obnoxious media personality who happens to have cultivated some appalling political views over the past 30 years.

I suspect he’s going into deep cover to distract us from his real next role: portraying Morrissey in a Smiths reunion tour (for which the band surely would receive well over $100 million), so that Morrissey doesn’t actually have to go on tour and Johnny Marr and Andy Rourke don’t have to be in the same room as

About the accent thing though: when you live around other English-speakers with radically different accents you do kind of pick up some of it after awhile. When I lived in Beijing I had many friends who were Australian and when that’s the only form of English you hear most days your voice starts to reflect it. So I’d

Help me understand why we’re hating on this young woman? Help me understand why it’s okay to be so critical of her trying to earn a living? Help me understand why she doesn’t deserve to be happy and working?

Honestly, we really ought to just leave her be. Let her grow up and mature. It seems like the UK has been really good to and for her. I’ll take her fake accent over driving drunk through West Hollywood anytime.

Skinning a dog alive, boiling a dog alive is torture. If you watched the video you would no longer have questions

Don’t get me wrong, I totally agree about the way animals are treated before they’re killed. But I think it’s two fold with the Yulin festival: 1) there have been reports of pets being stolen and sold for use in the festival and 2) there are videos of animals being tortured. Like in an obvious way, tortured.

Why don’t you watch some videos and then comment about it not being any of your business. Get those images burned into your mind forever and then let me know how you sleep at night.

Just call people whatever they prefer when you’re speaking to them.

I’m a gay man, 34yo, and foster parent for LGBT youth. I don’t use the term queer (or genderqueer) myself, and don’t permit it to be used in the home because of its history as a slur. I grew up being called queer and faggot, and don’t see any difference between the two terms.

Most of the people who use the term would have been called bisexual in the past. Most actual gay people I know (ie, the ones who were targeted with this slur in the first place) don’t use it as much.

I read the headline as Howard Dean. I was all huh, wuh? The nice dad bro from Vermont?

In that case, you can learn the joy of small town life when your car breaks down in a small town and you fall for the lovely (wo)man who runs a local Christmas-based business. Luckily, your big city business expertise will allow you to help bring that Christmas-based business back from the brink of bankruptcy,

Sometimes, when the wind is right and the stars align (and I'm at my grandparents' house and they get tired of us), Hallmark channel will come and brighten my day with a targeted dose of super-mockable Bad Television glory.
