Most older and expensive car engines look great, powerful and all, but that is not neccessarily ‘pretty’. As for motorcycles, styling is most often taken into consideration, as even inexpensive ones are out for all to see. Again, the look great, powerful, but rarely ‘pretty’.

Skulls, Swastikas etc. etc. Seen all the negative ones. Here’s one with a more positive message: ‘The Peace Tail Light’, straight out of the 1970s.

The is such a thing as 'the power of denial', never to be underestimated. It should not be hard to find pesent-day examples of that.

As horrible as ISIS is, the number of people they’ve killed (Paris included) is far less than what - say - Syrian ditator Assad has killed. That’s even before Russia joined the fray. And when it comes to beheadings and similar medieval behavior, look no further than to our langtime ally Saudi Arabia.

And - come to think of it - the light punishment Howard Foote got for taking his joyride (oh man, a joyride if there ever was one...) apparently hasn't caused a lot of other pilots to go out and repeat his endavour.

Unlike you or me, the judge has heard the facts of the case, heard what the DA, the bank and the culprit had to say. I believe that makes for a better background for deciding the appropriate punishment.

Once read about a guy who defrauded his Company - possibly a bank - out of a lot of money, after learning he only had a short time to live. Wrong person's diagnosis, it turned out, but he got off pretty lightly, as the judge could see the mitigating factor involved.

Ever compered the spec sheets for both brands? (Rethorical question. I know you haven't).

Inarticulate rage is one hint: I’ve encountered a good number of unhinged individuals, and the vast majority are male. Seeing kids on weekends only is another.
