When have reboots (except for the new Batman's) been good?
Everyone, quick! Run to your nearest thesaurus and look up "reboot". The thesaurus should say that Reboot is synonymous with bastardization.

I think you are missing my point though - I'm buying retail, I KNOW I'm going to dick around with a disc....I don't think I should have to install extra software. Be it Steam, or any other Steam-ing pile of shite.
I bought Blur months ago for 20 bucks with a coupon drive that went out around that time - was awesome.
"Steam was bad enough" implies that Steam shouldn't have to be installed when you purchase a RETAIL version of a game.
