I knew someone would say that...

No. No you don’t. The MRI field you speak of is nice and all, but it won’t stop cosmic rays from hitting you in deep space. You need a large diameter magnetosphere to shield your spacecraft... that field has to be large enough to redirect a cosmic ray away from all 100 people on board... that is a LARGE field. To

I don’t see anything about this that is crazy, other than the money it will cost... the engineering portion of this is pretty-well sorted at this point...

I thought you were right, then I realized that a car requires a person to drive it as well, so TECHNICALLY the plate of spaghetti is required for both bike and automotive travel...

Yep. You hit the nail on the head! Geometry is EVERYTHING.

Until someone out-does Saturn V, I remain unimpressed. Show me a 10-million-pound-thrust rocket that’s 500ft tall and I’ll say ‘WOW’. Otherwise this is ‘meh’ at best.

Only a V6?!? Come on Dodge... you’re better than this. At LEAST give us the V8 with AWD! THAT would be unique in the market... the V6 is just too small for this. And although a Hellcat with AWD would be neat, I’d actually rather have the Scat Pack engine (6.4L) mainly due to how great it sounds. Either way, I think

Let’s just say that I’ve been following this truck since the very first development mules were created... the want is LONG.

I have no reason to want one, but I just do... I blame Tonka. Although I’m essentially a ‘soccer dad’, I still desperately want to buy one and romp around in the snow... *sigh*

OK, so I get the large hanger idea... its cool to have a TON of space with little outside maintenance... however, why leave the inner house? I would have just leveled it and REALLY used that HUGE interior volume! SO. MUCH. WASTED. VOLUME.

Now playing

If you want to REALLY fly thru the desert, call up Stewart RaceWorks:

So... who is better? Who is best? Do ANY german cars have reliable motors? Should we just agree now that the LS3 in the Chevy SS is the MOST reliable?

As a Big Dig survivor, I laugh in your general direction...

Yes, you are right. The actual total battery weight is around 9500lbs... that’s much closer to what I was expecting for such a large vehicle.

But they are! The key to MagicLeap is that they are projecting light onto your retina with the correct image, but also the light rays are entering your eye at the correct ANGLE. This better simulates the way your eyes interpret distance individually (they are able to discern the angle of incoming light rays). This

It ain’t ‘fusion’ if it doesn’t have hammers!

HOLY HELL THAT IS AMAZING!!!!

I’m flat-out amazed that this hasn’t been confirmed for production yet. I haven’t heard ANYONE say anything bad about it. The design, the color, the WHEELS! Everything is just perfect. I don’t normally buy Jeeps, but I’d buy this one and go camping the next damned day! Such a great concept...
