For one, the insurance (at least around here) is almost twice as expensive for a 250 over a 125... Especially if you put an R at the end of the number... I wouldn’t call the Grom a toy, it’s an excellent commuter bike, can easily hit 65 MPH (more than enough for the city) and gets 134 MPG, more than double your 250R.
