Ah yes, every parents dream... having their children patronizingly lecture them about not being progressive enough in how they interact with their grandchildren. I’m sure you’re a real fun person to be around at family gatherings.

That’s a sweet child, I’m sure, but that’s exactly the type of “participation trophy”, entitled generation of children that I’m starting to see crop up in corporate America. It’s good to instill values like sharing into a child, but at some point don’t they need to learn that someone needs to step up and be a leader?

Spoken like someone who doesn’t have children of their own... isn’t it more important that parents love and support their children than that they teach them the most politically correct way to behave in society?

So it’s wrong for him to express that if the child is exhibiting traits that are generally more characteristic of males? I have a 3 year old son, I think my wife and I are fairly progressive, and we’ve definitely gone out of our way to be emotionally nurturing while at the same time trying to instill healthy
