This just made me put together that Nick actually is from Chicago, making the stereotypes he was spouting as Julius Pepperwood that much weirder…

"sometimes people who are working out their political beliefs, they can rage against the man, and yet at the same time can be oblivious to their own way of stepping on the foot of the person right next to them. … That is something the whole show gets at: You can be right about all of these injustices in the world, but

It's funny you say memorable, Tasha, because I know I read Horns but can't for the life of me remember anything about it.

I had no idea what was going on in this episode, but I found it endlessly entertaining. And the end may possibly have made me cry like an idiot…

Attended PAX East in support of my husband's upcoming indie game (Tower of Guns - upvote him on Greenlight!). Saw very little of what was going on, though, due to working at his booth all day. Met tons of super-nice people, though, and the conference was really well run.

I don't think it's unrealistic. My boss dropped out of med school to go to music school, and eventually went into business. He's been managing our company, successfully, for like 15 years, but his parents still see him as a failure for not becoming a doctor.

Loved Jess getting trapped behind her bedroom door.

I'm glad I went, and I think I enjoyed it, but I mostly remember just being ungodly hot and hiding in the shade as much as possible and just having to refill our water constantly. We left late in the afternoon on Sunday.  After a couple of hours of driving and probably the longest shower of my life, I turned the TV on

Me too. I had no idea I had those feelings for the characters until I started laughing with glee when the punching just went on and on and on.

Tried this last night and only made it through 30 minutes. Everyone talked in clichés. Agreed on the snoozefest.

It took me a while to figure out what he was reminding me of: a Kia hamster.

I had the same thought about wigs staying on while Elizabeth was getting beaten. What if that guy liked to pull hair?

Regarding the one-on-one outfits: I've noticed that typically those outfits will show up as what the designers are wearing an episode or two later, suggesting that the interviews get filmed quite a while after the actual events. So I imagine the smoking jacket will show up in a future episode. Oddly, Samantha had

After many weeks of "King of the Nerds" I think I'm used to that hair color.

My dad still uses AOL. So… yeah.

It's probably some sort of metaphor for Robert not liking change…

Was thinking the same thing about them all being vampires. Plus, how old is that dog by now? Or do they just keep getting a new dog that looks just like the old one?

Yes, that was awesome.

Is that a "Little Bunny Foo Foo" reference in the Nashville description?
