Heh, the other night Katy Perry tweeted that "Closer" was her current favorite song.

You're at least the guy who says he doesn't get why people like their music based on hearing a single song of theirs and looking at a few photos.

Anything involving Poe in this show is just so cheesy and ridiculous. I feel like trying to follow its logic is making me dumber.

"Juicebox" or "Red Light"

The audiobook version of "A Tale Dark and Grimm" is a pretty good diversion for a long car trip.

Yeah, this past season of All Stars was pretty bad with the fake mumbled "wow…" in those situations. It was particularly bad when contrasted with their actual excitement about being sent to Paris.

I like that dress, too, but I was okay with the main fabric.  I just really didn't like that checkerboard pattern.

I'm not sure it was all about the record deal.  I think she sensed he was kind of making a pass at her, with all his comments about her husband/marriage.  It wasn't until he came toward her that she stormed off.

Maybe it was just because I was actually looking at the screen instead of crocheting as usual, but I also quite enjoyed this episode.

I liked it a lot.  First book in a long while that I couldn't put down.  Although I suspected the twist, the first part was ambiguous enough that I wasn't sure.

My office is across from a college dorm.  It's like they think being above ground level makes them invisible…

It's not just the killer's interpretation of it, though. Because Bacon's character uses his apparently vast knowledge of Poe to reason out what Purefoy's going to do next.  He basically is the "tweedy old dude."

Sasha's hair plus the white nightgown was giving off kind of a Japanese horror movie vibe.

Plus apparently Fanny watches Breaking Bad?  (I had to rewind to make sure that I had actually heard her say "Better call Saul.")
