Here you go:

Interesting....I also live in Dallas and I have seen Dallas police blocked traffic during accident clean up. So, it has happened here...just because you didnt see doesnt mean its hasnt been done.

Well, it was actually 10 of their police cars over the hottest part of the summer. They spent over $16,000 on repairs to heat related electronics repairs. So as a preventative measure, these two police vehicles popped their hoods. Whether that does any good is up to debate.

This is where a little bit of reading might help you. They did not pull someone over, they were blocking traffic for a few hours during an investigation, so I can see why you didnt see any police cars with their hoods up during traffic stops in SoCal....because NO police officer does this on a traffic stop.

Well, that solves it....Delta88 once owned a car that has absolutely zero in common with any of the vehicles in this story aside from the manufacturer...and his never overheated, therefore, these simply cannot overheat! If that’s not evidence of a cover up, I dont know what is! By the way, what happened to the

You’re trying to inject logic here. Had the author of this story done a little digging, they would have found that the police department had spent over $16,000 on 10 police vehicles need heat related repairs to electronics over the summer. So the cops were clearly doing this as a preventative measure since they were

I live in Dallas and I have seen this fairly recently, say in the last 2 or 3 years. I’ve seen it where they have clearly been sitting for a while blocking traffic in construction zones on 635. If anything, they are just doing what someone has suggested they do to keep their cars cool, whether it works or not is up

If I ever need a lawyer, I’ll definitely not call you. So, this is where we are in this country, did you even bother to look up the actual situation where these hoods were popped? Did you know that this police department had 10 vehicles need repairs for heat related electronics damage over the summer? Also, these

Well, since the “reporter” who wrote this story was too lazy find out the truth or too eager to paint this as a shady, these cars did not actually over heat. They were on the scene of an investigation and the cars had been idling for hours. They popped their hoods to help prevent damage to electronics in the car.

I came across this story and then I read these comments. Everyone is crying “bullshit” and screaming of a cover-up. Half of you want to post a completely irrelevant anecdote about owning one of these cars that never overheated, thus, no other vehicle of this type has ever overheated…..that’s some really sound logic
