Fascinating! Next year, i will throw one for myself and only invite the neighborhood dogs so we can play poker and discuss our squirrel chasing stories! My human friends are all having babies these days so it gets annoying right quick.

... twenty years, you say...

For anyone who's not sure how this works, here's a quick primer (source: I work in game development):

When you make a big, open-world style game like Destiny, there's a lot of stuff that goes into what is essentially pre-visualization.

Employees aren't interchangeable. When the maps are done being designed, that doesn't mean the coding is. Or the weapon balance. Or the enemy AI. A common complaint when patches roll out is "Oh! They fixed [boss exploit] but they still haven't fixed [weak weapon A] or [slow matchmaking]!!!" As if the same 1 dude

My dad called on a Saturday to say my mom wasn't feeling well. Upset tummy, shoulder pain, having trouble keeping anything down, but she was resting on the couch. Flu! Typical symptoms and it had been going around that year. Don't come over, she says don't bother.

This is the kind of stuff that turns me away from MMO's. I think its great that people are having fun, but I couldn't do it myself. Sitting there shooting at a cave for hours just to get better gear to shoot at that cave some more sounds really off putting to me.

When i worked at EA, this trailer was discussed at least twice a weak. Without fail.

I liked Remember Me a whole lot.

i kinda liked Remember Me.

Modern Warfare 2's No Russian level. It's the first time playing a video game where I had to just pause and put my controller down for a few minutes and think about why I pressed the trigger when the others opened fire.

Obligatory Heavy Rain post. Although I thought the game was one of the most intense virtual experiences I've ever forced myself through, I did in fact enjoy it. But it really pushed me to question myself on how far I would go to save the life of a loved one. I killed a guy in his daughters' bedroom. I drove 5 miles

You have missed a fair point here though, what use is food and clothing to a person if their sanity is in shreds, this little project of his is creating an element of normality in an otherwise harsh environment, giving people something to do and to look forward to rather than to just sit and rot. Charity of the mind

Well technically we would be helping him grow his small business so he can keep earning a living. I thought it was a cool idea~

How can we send this guy consoles to help him and other refugees? With all the collectors we have, people can easy help this guy out and spread some video games over to Uganda.

/casually forwards this to mother so she can stop trying to get me to apply to obvious scams

HAHAHA CLASSIC DEADPOOL

The Irony of fox news co-opting a logo from a game that is against bigotry, xenophobia, closed borders and blind religious zealotry is just too good to spoil.
