Thank you! I think I'm pretty technical minded but I have definitely taken videos this way. I don't hold my phone in landscape for anything else but video and pictures. And thanks to the iPhone, I just plain forget to rotate it.

My GF is a manager at Homegoods which is basically a discount store (Part of TJ Maxx, Marshalls, etc) and people always ask her "There's a scuff on this, can you give me 10% off?" or "Can you do any better on the price?"

Yeah, of course they'd give a discount, also. I never said they wouldn't. But this is about the platform. For some reason people think because the iPads are "expensive" that they're luxury items and toys that shouldn't be for school kids but I disagree. It has tons of great content that I don't think Amazon could

I've been working so much that I just barely finished the campaign. I tried the online maybe 3 times this week and every time I encountered one of the bugs above within just 15-20 minutes of playing. Every time I finished a job I would just load forever or just hang. Can't wait to play it now that it's working!

Why respond if you didn't even read my point? I'll summarize:

The iPads don't cost the school $700. Apple has great deals for education. The budget may allow that much for computers anyway so if the cost reduces the need to have a dedicated computer classroom (Aside from, let's say, a library) and reduces the need for large lockers, I think it's a win for most schools. This may

I have no problem with iPads being in schools. I think the technology is a great addition to the typical computer in the classroom. But my question is... Why the hell wasn't this thing password encrypted? Correct me if I am wrong, but there is a setting that allows you to restrict what you can download, what you can

I know it may be obvious, but have you updated your drivers? It wasn't exactly working correctly for me, and I'd get stuck loading every now and then, when it did load the frame rate was horrendous. I downloaded the 13.10 beta 2 drivers for my AMD card and it works like a charm now. I guess during a beta there will

That's actually really cool but seems difficult as shit to fold that, I'm terrible at folding shirts. Given that, anytime I go to a department store, I find myself cleaning up more and fixing things than actually looking through clothes and making purchases.

I do the same, but the thing that annoys me is because I already have two monitors, when I do HDMI out to my TV I have to always have to do an "exchange" or "disable" display so I'm constantly unplugging and replugging in the HDMI cable so things show up on the right monitor. I guess there's software to do that or a

That's true. Well, let's hope that in the final version these kinds of tweaks take place and hopefully it will integrate nicely and easily. I wouldn't mind it, I just assumed they had a reason for not doing so since they don't really seem to be the lazy developer type :P

Looks like my college dorm room but with 2 people! And I guess our shower and toilet wasn't in the same room... but still!

I played 3 full matches yesterday with different servers (Westcoast and one midwest) and one of them "closed" at the end of a match but overall it seemed okay. It a little bit of a lag but that was to be expected. Given how stable BF3 was I can imagine once the beta is over it will be rock solid (For the most part).

I agree, though I think disrupting the flow of gameplay might be a little too much (As I'm sure it was considered). If they added a switch to servers it might be a cool option but I'm sure coding is a bit more difficult, haha.

I wasn't a fan of Halo, even given the fact I didn't own an Xbox but played most of them at my friends house and had roommates that played it. This looks more up my alley. I think if the gameplay is fun and perhaps a bit Borderlands-ish in terms of co-op and online play, I think it will be a blast. Sure, characters

I can imagine this game has hi res textures all across the board. Some games, particularly in PC, will do high res textures for characters and major surfaces but not all props and objects will be (Makes me think of Rage). But I'll be pretty impressed if the consistency of textures is that high resolution and it plays

I haven't found Nintendo to be relevant to me to me since I was maybe 10. Again, that's just me personally, but after I bought the original Wii, I was like... why?

Exactly. And it's funny because I think my girlfriends younger brother has always been kind of looking for an older brother figure and I kind of treat him like my younger bro (And I'd like to think I'm a positive influence even if I enjoy terrible games like GTA).

It's funny, I'm a huge Valve fan, I love steam and PC gaming (Though I do console gaming, also). And this news in particular isn't exciting, mostly because a small percentage of us have already been running HDMI cables to our living rooms or building computers for our livings rooms already. But what it will bring in

Oh, totally. I know this, I'm just adding to the conversation. The connection was that when he was 10 years old, he was that little kid that wanted CoD and GTAIV. The big difference is that it's only been a few years since then - My point was just that all kids mature differently and at different times, it's just
