I loved Heavy Rain. Playing something different is refreshing, even if the gameplay is limited. I still like the powerful story-telling element. Ellen page is fine with me - But I'm used to her being some sort of smartass or something.

Basically - Any publicity is good publicity. This is primarily a media event. If you're remotely related to the industry you can get in. I've seen primarily media since I've been there. Still fun to check things out.
Took me a second to see how a knife would work. I pictured myself stabbing the tub/box dramatically. But that's interesting, I should try a knife sometime...
Hahaha, you can let it out! Yeah, I'm not in IT but I am an audio engineer and self proclaimed geek and I get this a lot from friends, family, friends of friends. Even my boss is sometimes like, "Hey, how do you do this on an iPad?" I'm like... Dude. I don't even have an iPad, really, I don't know. Press the... Help…
Fantastic article. I think a TON of us fall into this category and I admittedly do this frequently. I've been called out on it many times. "Yeah, you're just perfect aren't you?" "You just know eeeeverything, huh?" Eek. Sorry. Maybe a bit of self restraint and self awareness will help tame this. It's almost…
I'm not a huge Capcom fan, I don't really like *many* japanese games for that matter. I always feel like I'm on crack when I try and play a japanese shooter. BUT. I actually had a blast playing LP2. Was it awkward at times? Yeah... Was the story fantastic? Not...Really. But it was fun to play alone or with people. LP3…
Yes, you are correct, I was being dramatic - I simply have passion for what I do. I've seen plenty of games and technologies and I was honestly very impressed.
These pictures definitely don't do it justice. If anyone has NOT seen the Samaritan demo, I'd highly recommend watching that in 1080p. That blew me away. I was almost in tears because I was so excited for what is in store for the video game industry. As someone who works professional in the industry, this means a lot.…
I find it near impossible to find legit apartments on craigslist these days. Sure, my first apartment was a craigslister... But every other one I click on (Or email for an appointment) is some dick that went on a mission to Africa. Seriously, 6 people in the same city just all happened to be going on a mission to…
Absolutely agree, while I try and stay away from overly processed products, I still don't understand how we still have cigarettes. It's absolutely back asswards.
Yeah - I don't think I care about this game anymore. Never been an MMO fan, but I have been a Elder Scrolls fan. If I wanted to play WoW I'd play WoW.
I wouldn't necessarily say *plenty* - There are many factors involved. Some of the assets in the video could still be early. There's still a good chunk of time between now and the release. Including time for higher res textures. 2 years isn't as much time as you think it is to create a game. But I do think the video…
I'm honestly surprised by everyone's positive reaction. I actually had the opposite. The trailer was powerful, but it didn't have any "holy shit" moments like previous CoD's had. The graphics look outdated and uninteresting. The gameplay looks the same and shows me nothing new or interesting. Sure, bots... Drones...…
They do look terrible don't they?! Okay okay, I take that back. Not terrible... Just, very... outdated. I doubt they could've created a new engine or new assets in the short time frame, so I don't blame them. But still. It looks... bad.
I find that I'm less inclined to play multiplayer games these days. I started with big FPS titles from UT99 to CoD, but I don't seem to pour as many hours like I used to. Dead Space 2 MP? Fun for like 2 days. Uncharted 2/3? Fantastic, but I got over that after maybe 10 hours. I think a lot of developers are clamoring…
Maybe I'm just really, really hungry... But I had to read this article like 3 times to understand what the purpose of this was. But now I understand. Seems useful!
Awesome photos! I wish I had a nice camera (One day...) otherwise I would've been all over this. As for now, I'll stick to Hipstamatic on my iPhone.
Yet for some reason I can't convince my girlfriend that she needs to play Fallout (For surviving an nuclear war/apocalypse/end of the world disaster) or Resident Evil (Zombie outbreak). When she's getting eaten by a zombie I'll just tell her "You should've logged more hours!"
I like the french fry building. There should be more buildings that resemble food!
That's what I was thinking. Most people will end up calling it "Battle Royale" or "Playstation Battle Royale" anyway. If All-Stars is a series of games it might actually be a good thing for the naming scheme.
